The Needle Company Ltd offers a wide range of quality hand-sewing needles for the discerning buyer. Needles are offered in bright nickel or 24-carat gold finishes. These are available in packs of 1,000 - either bulk packed or individually wrapped - the latter being specifically created for the kit collation market.

The wrappers are colour coded to identify the needle size: in addition, the stripes on the wrappers identify the type of needle, e.g. tapestry, chenille, embroidery etc. This allows for easy recognition of the needle needed and quicker collation of kits.

Other benefits of the wrapped needles are that they are more readily visible in the kits and help prevent injury when opening them. Furthermore, the wrapped needles are isolated from the acidity of the canvas in the kit, which can cause brown spotting on both needle and canvas.
